I'm a matte painter and concept artist experienced in both feature film and game industries. This is a great way to mix my illustration and conceptual background, Photoshop experience, 3d interests, and love for fx laden movies.

Currently I'm on contract at Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) as a Digital Matte Painter, pretty much the dream job! I've had terrific opportunities working with a fantastic team at Ubisoft in Montreal on the VES award winning cinematics for Prince of Persia 3, freelance opportunites for clients like Pepsi and Games Workshop/Sabertooth Games, and working at Rocket Science vfx as a matte painter and concept artist. My time at Intelligent Creatures was as a senior matte painter, working on feature films like Babel, Stranger Than Fiction, and Joel Schumacher's The Number 23.

While my focus is now concept and matte work, I've had a broad range of experience not
only as an Illustrator, but also as Designer and Creative Director, working for a wide range of companies providing print and interactive design, strategy and branding.

While the Creative Director at Riordon Design, I received a variety of awards for both illustration and design, had work published in many books, and worked for a lot of international clients -both entertainment and corporate. At SilverBirch I worked as Creative Director on various projects for Warner, The Source and Velvet Elvis.

Online forums such as CGTalk and 3DTotal have recognized me with Awards of Excellence - very cool, thx guys!
